Interesting puzzle mechanic, although for the gate switch i think it would be better if it needed to be pressed all time to open the gate. Can't wait for full version of this!!
Wow! This is pretty much a perfect playtrough! Thanks a lot for taking you time, this is awesome! We hope you'll like the full fledged version als well :)
Such a fun game! I really enjoyed the mechanics and the puzzles got progressively more difficult. None of the levels felt repetitive and the music was really fun. Overall a very fun and challenging game, keep up the good work :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but on the linux verison the text appears bery big and it's unreadable. I could Play the game because the controls are very intuitive and I could discover the mechanics on my own.
Other than that a very fun and interesting game. Can't wait to see the full verison!
Very neat idea and great progression: I always felt the that the previous levels was a sufficient foundation for the next. By the way, is the yellow character in the picture a planned hero or an enemy?
Criticism: I get that you want to give the heroes personalities. This adds to the enjoyment. However, I like to discover mechanics on my own, so I would prefer if they didn't spoil every mechanic right away (of course you have to convey the controls somehow). Maybe they could give hints after a certain amount of time has passed.
Undo and redo would be greatly appreciated, though I realize that takes some work to implement.
Thanks for the experience and I hope that you can make a full game from this!
Thank you very much for playing and your feedback, we appreciate it!
The yellow character should be a hero but his ability was to "complex" to program it right in the short amount of time as well as the undo feature. But those will be included in the full version, also some "enemies" and much more other things ;)
About discovering mechanics, it's an interesting point of view, thanks :)
Thank you very much for playing and recording! We will have a look at the bug trying to reproduce and fix it. We respect your time so sorry for the inconvenience with the bug.
I just saw that you guys are the same ones that made Blood for Blood, which was also a great game. I've started following you and can't wait to see what you make next!
I was also wondering what font you used in the game?
Haha... yes we are. Thanks a lot for playing TWO of our games. We really appreciate it. Thanks for the follow as well. Right now we are thinking and talking about if we make "One Action Heroes" our first full game. We received a lot of good feedback. We will see what our discussions bring but there is a good chance that we start working on a first full game. Of course there will be jam games in the future as well. The Name of the font in the game is "Baron". But we only used the small caps of it!
The game looks very polished, but there are a lot of quality of life features missing. Like R for restart, movement also with WASD, saving progress, displaying the level in the top right and Z to revert by one action (though more difficult to add).
Though I do want to praise the great art, original concept and humour. I got stuck a couple levels after the graber guy was introduced. It was the level were you needed to get them all down into one long corridor at the bottom of the level.
Thanks for playing our jam game and investing your time! Also thank you for the feedback. The 48h time cap on the jam hit us hard so sadly we couldnt integrate everything that we would love to have in the game such as some of your mentioned features. Quick restart was brought to us by some of the community members and will be integrated in a post-jam version. And also your other ideas we are going to talk about them so we really appreciate your words. Yes some of the levels are a bit tricky. We know we made a challenging puzzler and that was our intention to make the game that way. Hopefully the getting stuck was not because of a bug. There is a minor one with the grabber but a restart of the level fixes it right now.
Yeah the game is quite challenging. I couldn't progress because the puzzle was too difficult for me. Perhaps you can also add a level select screen with islands (like Baba is You), so that players don't get stuck on one puzzle.
We added the feature for saving the progression for the jam version, for this case, so you can return to the game anytime. Often you need just some distance to get new perspective to solve a puzzle. But, you're right a feature like a map and possibility to progress on another puzzle is necessarily.

This is such an amazing idea and very well crafted! Is there ever going to be a full version? I'm sure a kickstarter would do well.
Best game!!! :D
Interesting puzzle mechanic, although for the gate switch i think it would be better if it needed to be pressed all time to open the gate. Can't wait for full version of this!!
Not-so-patiently waiting for the full version :D Hope it comes out soon!!!!
Haha, you're not alone. :)
Yep
This concept worked really well. Iirc one of the levels was frustrating, but the rest was great fun. And the art style is cute as well.
this game is so simple and yet hard at the same time. I love it
I'm looking forward to the full versio
Thank you! We too :D

At the moment nowhere BUT it will be available at 2020 here on itch.io :)
A very nice game! One thing i could definitely use is an undo button like in Baba is you
Thanks! :) Yeah we hear that a lot :D
(but it is actually already implemented in the new version, which is still in development)
maybe afther the full version is done maybe add a level editor so that the players can make there own levels

Ou... never heard of the GDWC19. We will take a look at it. Thanks.

We're glad you could still play and like it! We're on it!
Thank you for the bug-report, I'll look into it :)
Yah I had the same bug but if you just skip past all the text. It's really fun.
Did this ever get fixed? It's two years later and I'm experiencing the same issue.

I also like the art style
Thanks! :)
Thank you for letting us know. Now is the correct file uploaded.
This is my favorite of the games from the jam so far. I love it so much!
If you do a full game, please add a restart level button, instead of having to go to the pause menu to restart. Thanks!
Thank you very much! We will :)
Great puzzle game but I found a bug that forced me to restart from the beginning. Here's my recording of it. Bug is at 1:09.
I was pressing space bar and the arrow keys but it wasn't doing anything.
Thank you very much for playing and recording! We will have a look at the bug trying to reproduce and fix it. We respect your time so sorry for the inconvenience with the bug.
Not a problem, it's great game so I look forward to playing more of it.
Thanks! This is great! :)
